Rolled down the beach on Saturday afternoon with my buddy Richard
and got to our fishing spot around 7. We got three large baits out before
dark. About 10 one of the twelve out goes off seconds after replaceing the
handle(long story).
We hook up with a good heavy fish that I fight for about 45 minutes
before we can see its a fat tiger. After getting her tale roped and into
shallower water she lookes to be full of pups so we worked fast to snap a
few pictures and release her as quick as possible. She measured 10"6 and
a had a huge girth. She swam off great after walking her around in the gut
for a while.
It was awesome to release a breeding Tiger of that size under the full moon.
Sunday got really windy and we only managed one black tip about 6'
a couple of jack and the trout fishing was off and on all weekend.
