Captain Matt, Jay, Dave and I headed offshore to some nearshore wrecks and rigs on 9-18-04. Prior to leaving the marina, we caught about 5 dozen finger mullet for bait.

Upon finding our wreck and anchoring, we dropped down the mullet, and caught some pretty solid red and mangrove (we think) snapper.

Although Matt caught 3 keeper ling the last time at this spot, there were none this time. We ended up with 4 red snapper and 5 mangrove snapper.

Interestingly, a tired little yellow bird landed on the boat and hung with us the whole day. We put him in the chum churn and took him with us back to the dock, where he flew off fine.
