Fullon Harvest, Natedog, Allen, Rodbreaker, Cody, Bell and myself headed out to PINS early Friday. After a long drive to the 54 MM we were ready to get after it. In no time we had several yaked and casted baits out.

Rodbreaker did a great job catching the bait and ended up catching a limit of reds throught the weekend. At around 6 PM Natedog's reel starts screeming minutes after it had been yaked out.

Natedog is new to the sport and caught his first shark with his first everything. First leader he made, first time to use his new shark rig on his first attempt to catch a shark. He ends up with a nice 5' 3" Blacktip. Congratulations Natedog, on you first shark. I am glad that I was there to witness.

Fighting action.

After tagging and releasing Natedog's shark we settled in for some great chow.

Not long after we ate, my 555 on 12' OM casted with a whole whiting starts to make that sweet sound we all love. I fight the shark for about 15 to 20 minutes and land a nice and fat 6' 4" Bull shark.

Here are some pictures of my BEST to date. Only by an inch but my best non the less.

A few hours later Gringo and Phill join us for the weekend. The next day was slow and Mark his son Zach and cousin Curtis join us for the weekend. They went to work quick and managed to catch a good mess of Reds, whiting and a nice pompano.

Here is Zach with the first of several Red's.

These guys got there late but made up by fishing hard late into the night. They also contributed to the bait fund with several stingrays.

At around 5 PM Gringo gets hooked up with HIS 4/0 on his SHARKATHON NUKE ROD he won and a yaked out whiting. Gringo fights the shark for about 40 minutes and lands a nice 6' 2.5" Bull shark. His best to date. Congratulations Gringo, you are now in the 6 ft. club.
