With my son Shawn spending the Holidays in Tucson this year, I went
to see my bros in SWF to keep the mope factor to a minimum...Of course we
would fish...With a soggy boarding pass in my pocket, Jeff and I TnR this
sandbar.
Voodoo Mojo was in full effect...What did you expect?
Guess this sandbar had too much Mojo because it never fought at all,
but was released for all the internet sharkers to catch on a 16/0...
Brother Jeff bait haul in the land of winter nothingness, thanks bro...
Fortunately my youngest brother David was able to come along for his
''birthday trip''...Happy 39th Bro!!! David caught his personal best fish...David
is training for his first marathon soon. David has never been as ate up with
sharkin' as Jeff and I. That is why he has his degree, a good job, house,
and a beautiful wife and daughter...
Oh Snap!!! What you thought there would be no sea monsters...? Goliath
I caught while fishing for sharks...72''' and a great fight...guess the
weight....who MF cares...
I dropped a bait in the same spot, and Jeff beat this giant on a 9/0
after a badass fight. It was barely hooked and I drug him into the shallows
for some memories...Look at those dorsal spines...80'' long and as fat as
a hippo...Do you think he was happy to meet the Shindle Bros?...Back to your
hole sea beast! Cool..............

Everglades oscar tarpon bait
This tarpon was abducted by a skunkape and never seen again, at least in
one piece.
Kip, brotha from anotha motha, showed up and did what he does best!!!
Kip caught this eight foot lemon on a casted bait...It had obviously
seen better times as it had no bulk...She was happy to go on her way...I
used her unique snout to open a beer before she split...
2008 is over...Tomorrow is a new year...Time to make a new list
of monsters...I am so grateful for my awesome friends and family...Thanks
to all my buds that deal with my gypsy wandering soul...Thanks to Ronnie
Hale and Moose for the friendship and offshore memories...Dad loves you
